A free program that's probably the simplest alarm you can find.

There are many programs that come equipped with alarms to alert you at a certain time, most of them full of features, tools and even text editors to write reminder notes for each alarm messages. But if what you're looking for is the opposite, then what you need is Alarm Clock.

Alarm Clock is primarily simplicity itself. You just tell it the four figures of the time you want the alarm to go off (for example, 1730 for 5:30 pm) and it will alert you at this hour. The alarm sound is the same as the standard Windows sound at startup. Of course, Alarm Clock is completely free and doesn't even require installation.
